Bernie Sanders: “Three years ago, we were told that Medicare for all was too radical. Well, three years have come and gone, and a majority of Democratic voters in swing districts across the nation support Medicare for all. It’s time to implement the political revolution we’ve been fighting for.”

How come Bernie’s Jewishness is not considered when the media talks about diversity in the Democratic field?

Genuine question. If elected, Bernie would become the first ever Jewish president. That's a glass ceiling on its own; a non Christian winning the Presidency.

I realize that this could be a negative for him, especially in the South and perhaps it's good for him if this isnt highlighted, but nevertheless, he should be included among the new diverse wing of the Democrat party. If he wins, it's not just another white male. A non Christian, Jewish/nonreligious President of the United States is a BIG deal.

Bernie Sanders: The time has come to fulfill and expand upon FDR’s vision that he laid out in 1944. These are not radical ideas. They’re supported by the majority of Americans. Working together, we can and we must achieve economic, social, racial, political and environmental justice for all.
