I have many friends / family members on the fence between Sanders and Bloomberg. It would be wonderful if there was a compiled list of facts regarding Bloomberg, particularly highlighting his continued support for Republican's as well as his racist and unjust policies as mayor – something that quickly illustrates how he is not at all the man is purporting to be now. If this was well compiled with sources I could see this as a document that can be shared with people who are not familiar with Bloomberg but considering voting for him.

From my preliminary research, I have the following points:

  • Endorsed G.W. Bush in 2004
  • Hosted the RNC convention in 2004
  • Supports for the Iraq war
  • Helped Republicans take and maintain control of the U.S. Senate (in the past decade) thru direct campaign contributions and super PACs.
  • Created the NYC stop and frisk policy, which specifically targeted African Americans.

Ohio spends 8.8 billion a year on the opioid epidemic, despite evidence showing legalization of cannabis would in fact decrease mortality rates.

Well my governor opposes legalization even though people will literally be driving across the state line to get what they want.

Cant wait for sanders to legalize and take money out of politics so the people can be fairly represented!

Samuel Finkelstein II: There have been almost no polls publicized in the past month, even though we’re just weeks away from Iowa. If the polls looked good for centrists, we’d hear all about it. But they don’t. They look good for Bernie. So good, in fact, that polling is suspended til further notice

Came across an interesting fact that also emphasizes why Bernie is the best choice for feminists

Essentially, women often lose their medical insurance coverage after divorce. M4A not only prevents us from being imprisoned to a job that we dislike (if not hate), but also prevents us from being trapped in a marriage. Men should support M4A, as well, because it's likely that he'll have to pay higher alimony to compensate for her lost medical insurance.

Just an interesting bit of information I've never seen before nor heard discussed.
