Was listening to the Smerconish show on Siriusxm yesterday while driving (late night repeat of the morning show), and Mark Halperin was on talking about things including 2020.

Mark was ousted from his prior media roles, fairly I think, as a result of his past actions, but you can't ignore that he is very knowledgeable of politics.

Mark stated that he felt Bernie was most underrated candidate in the field and the most likely to win the nomination.

He in fact felt that if Bernie wins Iowa and New Hampshire, that he could wrap up the nomination in the first month.

He felt that Biden would collapse quickly if he gets in the race and that others like Beto were hollow candidates.

He also pointed out that Buttigieg is also working with bundlers and other big money donors. So another clear sign that Pete cannot be trusted.

I called Mueller’s conclusion 3 weeks ago and said it’s actually worse for Trump and for America. Here’s why:

Many people are expecting the Mueller investigation to conclude that Trump colluded with Russia. As an anti-Trump man, I am expecting the opposite.

You see, if Trump did collude with Russia that means he's a smart conspirator that actually succeeded in attaining his goal of becoming president. However, I believe the truth is he's just a "useful idiot" (Kremlin lingo) that got used as the moron he is by Russia in order to destabilize USA democracy. He didn't expect to become President. He was trying to make the Trump brand great again but ended up as the puppet of much smarter people than him.

I even believe that everything that is going on regarding this matter and all we know about it (Trump Tower meeting, for example) is for us to know because Russia actually left breadcrumbs in order to create this spectacle. If they didn't want us to know we would have no idea. That's how actual spies and conspirators work.

The "collusion" is not something Russia and Trump did and wanted to hide, it is a fabrication made my the Kremlin in which Trump got unwittingly involved, and which Putin and the rest of the oligarchs always intended to run its course like it is actually happening.

This morning on Meet The Press, DNC chairman Tom Perez said the comments made by Ilhan Omar were “wrong and divisive”. Well if it’s wrong to think that PACs have to much power in shaping our political agenda, than I don’t want to be right.

Tim Pool:”I was a fan of Bernie Sanders until he said white people don’t know what it’s like to be poor.” Joe Rogan:”That’s hilarious, go to WV and visit the fucking coal miners.” WVian here. He DID, and it’s on video. He asked white people from WV’s poorest county to explain poverty on camera.

Tim Pool was on JRE a couple days ago and said the above statement. Rogan assumed what Pool said was true and just ran with it. What's hilarious is he brought up WV, my home state, and said Sanders should visit to learn about poverty for white people.

As someone who followed Bernie for a long time, I can attest that he visited West Virginia many times, and he visited our poorest county, McDowell, 3 times. He hosted 2 events drawing attention to poverty in the area, both before and after those "white people can't be poor" comments. I think the gaffe in question was really him badly phrasing an argument about ghettos. Ghettos are definitionally racial creations. It’s true that white people in America don't know what it's like to be poor members OF A GHETTO. That's different from saying white people can't be poor in general.

It's not possible that Sanders would believe there was no such thing as white poverty, BEFORE, DURING(this one's a 1.5 hour seminar almost on poverty in WV's southern coalfields. And Sanders makes it clear the point of it is to give the people of McDowell a voice), and AFTER his presidential run(and that gaffe), he has been drawing public awareness to one of the worst areas for white poverty in the country. More than that, he gave the people of McDowell a microphone and asked them to speak about their own experiences relating to living their lives in poverty.

People should give others the benefit of the doubt if something is said at face value that contradicts everything they've stood for before and after what was said. I think Sanders's comments were just a gaffe resulting from clumsy word choice. I think context + Sanders's clear history prove he believes in white poverty and is concerned about it. Finally I think some lazy-minded people looking to confirm their own pre-conceived biases screened Sanders's word choice to make him look like he didn't care about poor white people, when that's obviously not true.
