If public universities become free under a President Sanders, would that mean colleges like UVA and Michigan would be free for anyone regardless of the state you come from?

Hello, everyone.

Recently, I’ve been wondering exactly this: If public universities become free under a President Sanders, would that mean colleges like UVA and Michigan would be free for anyone regardless of the state you come from?

If you don’t know already, UVA and Michigan are both arguably the top two public universities in the USA. But, would they be made free for anyone regardless of the state under a President Sanders? Or would it be free only for in state students?

Thank you!

Do not boycott polls because they are anti Sanders, almost every source is, and Sanders still went on Fox

Additionally boycotting polls will give said anti Bernie sources like MSNBC and FOX, material to say Sanders support is diminishing, and telling opponents "we boycotted those polls" when they use them in discussion, will look like a terrible excuse…

I understand not wanting to give them money or traffic, but we alone won't due much damage when they are being funded by the elite to diminish candidates that threaten their bottom line anyways.

More over the person who understands this best, that you must reach out to everyone even if that means going into the Lion's den… is Sanders himself, who went on Fox and had a room of voters in a rust belt State cheering for Medicare for All.

If he does well in these polls and the media doesn't talk about them, that's definitely preferable, because we can still share them, and Sanders campaign can use them.

The fact Warren is winning in these now might be a bad sign, we absolutely do not want to be in a situation where it is Sanders who is seemed to be splitting the Progressive vote…

Voting on Daily Kos polls is harming the Sanders campaign, please consider a boycott!

Every month we have some very well meaning supporters who post the monthly daily kos straw poll to get supporters to vote for Bernie in that poll, and every month Markos, the founder of the site shits all over Bernie no matter what the result of the poll, if Bernie is leading, it is because all the "Bernie Bros" flooded the site and the poll is meaningless, if anyone else wins, then the "Bernie is irrelevant" commentary is breathlessly celebrated by those centrist boomers.

At this point in time, voting on Daily Kos is detrimental to the cause of getting Sanders elected.

By driving traffic and voting on that poll, you are essentially giving credibility to Dailykos, an establishment blog masquerading as a progressive site. It allows them to continually carry on the charade that their site is a "progressive" site and allows their founder to go on TV and try to speak for all progressives.

All Bernie supporters should boycott voting for Bernie on their site, in the next poll, if Bernie is at 0% on their poll, then basically the credibility of their site claiming to represent progressives is basically in the toilet.

Bernie himself boycotted Netroots Nation, the annual dailykos conference, let's band together as supporters and do the same.

“Why Bernie Sanders’ plan to recruit 1 million volunteers is a winning movement strategy” and Corporate Democrats are already at a disadvantage

Back in February (2019), Senator Sanders had 400,000 volunteers (see #1) and the movement raised $ 18 million in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (see #2). But it seems to me that in addition to the large movement and associated fund raising, each dollar donated to the Sanders campaign ends up being more useful than to a Corporate Democrat. If you start with the assumption that Corporate Democratic politicians and their minions are in the game for money and power, then it seems reasonable to think that they might have some folks charging more for their services and pocketing the difference, or getting contracted to do work that isn't the highest priority. So until I hear that there is strong enforcement of ethics requirements, and audits, I won't get too concerned if the Sanders' grassroots donations don't quite match those few that go from billionaires to his Corporate Democrat competitors … 1) "His residual 2016 infrastructure alone establishes him as a front-runner. He’s got an all volunteer meme-factory 400,000 strong, no less than three distinct organizations supporting his candidacy, and a grassroots donor base of over 200,000 so eager for another round of Sanders’ that they raised him $ 6 million dollars in the first 24 hours of his campaign."2) "Bernie Sanders raises $ 18 million in second quarter, campaign says"
